Misconceptions in quantifiers

Misconceptions in quantifiers:

A quantifier is a word or phrase that is used before a noun to express quantity or amount. 
During one of the stellar topics, we had a discussion between some, several and many. 

Do note that some should be both countable and uncountable nouns. 

Hope the list clarifies. 


Holidays are almost over. I have set Maths practices in learnlogy starting next week. The next unit review is due in week 6. (National day holidays week) it will be a short week due to the celebrations on the 8th August.

These games together with the previous games were selected by a group of teachers when we attended some course together. I hope it would be useful and it can reinforce learning in a more interesting way apart from pen and paper.

Grammar, and English importance

Things which we have covered and considered important: 

Countable and uncountable nouns:
1) Using much, many and some
She does not have much time. 


Subject and verb agreement: 
I sing, she sings, everyone sings. 
We sing, They sing, All of us sing.


Simple Past tense: 
these words as exposed from the units The Giant's Ice cream and The Jigaree

Sentence Construction

Synthesis...This is very important.
E.g
Q: Do you want honey on your bread? Do you want butter on your bread?
A: Do you want honey or butter on your bread?
The above is the common examinable question.
